Plagiarism Screening

Journal of Economics and Business recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy which states specific actions (penalties) if plagiarism is identified in an article published for publication in the Journal of Economics and Business. Definition:Plagiarism is an act intentionally or unintentionally in obtaining or trying to obtain credit or value for a scientific work, by quoting part or all of another party's scientific works and/or works that are recognized as scientific works, without stating the source precisely and adequately. For that, then:Articles must be original, never before published, and not in the process of waiting for publication elsewhere. Material taken verbally from other sources needs to be clearly identified so that it differs from the original text. If plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for recovering the article and will approve actions according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:Articles submitted to the Journal of Economics and Business will be checked for plagiarism using turnitin (www.turnitin.com) starting September 2021. Plagiarism Rate•    Plagiarized some short sentences from other articles without mentioning the source. Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and quote properly.•    Plagiarized most of other articles without proper citations and without mentioning the source. Action: Articles submitted for publication in the Journal of Economics and Business and the author may be subject to sanctions for not being allowed publication in the Journal of Economics and Business.•    All article authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit to the Journal of Economics and Business. If the article is classified as plagiarism, all authors will be subject to the same action.•    If the author is proven to have submitted a manuscript to the Journal of Economics and Business by simultaneously sending it to other journals, and this overlap is found during the review process or after publication, then action will be taken according to point 2 above.•    If plagiarism is found outside the rules above, the editor of the Journal of Economics and Business has the right to take responsible action according to the editorial team's policies.

 

Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis mengakui bahwa plagiat tidak dapat diterima dan oleh karena itu menetapkan kebijakan berikut yang menyatakan tindakan spesifik (hukuman) bila plagiat diidentifikasi dalam sebuah artikel yang diajukan untuk dipublikasikan di Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis .

Definisi:
Plagiat adalah perbuatan secara sengaja atau tidak sengaja dalam memperoleh atau mencoba memperoleh kredit atau nilai untuk suatu karya ilmiah, dengan mengutip sebagian atau seluruh karya dan/atau karya ilmiah pihak lain yang diakui sebagai karya ilmiahnya, tanpa menyatakan sumber secara tepat dan memadai.

Untuk itu, maka :

Artikel harus asli, belum pernah diterbitkan, dan tidak dalam proses menunggu publikasi di tempat lain. Materi yang diambil secara verbal dari sumber lain perlu diidentifikasi secara jelas sehingga berbeda dari teks asli. Jika teridentifikasi plagiat, maka, Pemimpin Redaksi bertanggung jawab atas peninjauan kembali artikel tersebut dan akan menyetujui tindakan sesuai dengan tingkat plagiat yang terdeteksi, dengan pedoman berikut:

Artikel yang diserahkan ke Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis akan dicek tingkat plagiarisme menggunakan menggunakan turnitin (www.turnitin.com) sejak September 2021.

Tingkat Plagiarisme

• Menjiplak sebagian kalimat pendek dari artikel lain tanpa menyebutkan sumbernya. Tindakan: Penulis diberi peringatan dan permintaan untuk mengubah teks dan mengutip dengan benar.

• Menjiplak sebagian besar artikel lain tanpa kutipan yang tepat dan tidak menyebutkan sumbernya. Tindakan: Artikel yang diajukan ditolak untuk publikasi di Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis dan Penulis dapat diberi sanksi untuk tidak diperbolehkan publikasi di Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis.

• Semua penulis artikel bertanggung jawab atas isi artikel yang mereka kirimkan ke Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis. Jika Artikel tergolong plagiat, maka semua penulis akan dikenai tindakan yang sama.

• Jika Penulis terbukti mengajukan naskah ke Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis dengan secara bersamaan mengirimkan juga ke Jurnal lain, dan tumpang tindih ini ditemukan selama proses reviewer atau setelah publikasi, maka diberi tindakan sesuai point 2 di atas.

Jika ditemukan tindakan plagiat diluar aturan di atas, editor Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis berhak memberikan tindakan sanksi sesuai kebijakan tim editor.
